Dear Friends of CGCIC,

Yes, winter is coming - quite early this year for us in Toronto. While the cold months can be hard to weather, we would like to create a bit of excitement with the impressions from our past events.

The Canadian German Gala Ball was a big success. 300 high-ranking guests were welcomed and were put in the spotlight with this year’s theme ”All Lights On You!”.

Regarding our German trade delegation in Lightweight Materials, the members had the great opportunity to present their companies, technologies and projects to partners from Canadian government, research institutes and private companies.

Also, this month five Canadian representatives from different First Nations in Yukon, Ontario and New Brunswick went on a fact-finding mission focused on bioenergy technologies to Southern and Central Germany.
