Dear Visitor,

We cordially invite you to join us at the German Pavilion at this year’s Energy Taiwan 2019. We at DEinternational Taiwan, the service unit of the German Trade Office Taipei (AHK Taiwan), have years of experience in organizing German Pavilions at Taiwan’s trade exhibitions. Our exhibitors benefit from our networking expertise and enjoy an extensive service package. Together we strengthen the brand ‘Made in Germany’.

Energy Taiwan 2019 will take place from October 16th until the 18th at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Last year, the show attracted over 150 exhibitors and 11,000 visitors from all over the world. Energy Taiwan is the ideal platform to learn about innovations as well as trends in Asia's green energy sector.

Germany and Taiwan share similar economies. Both are highly innovative and export-driven with a large share of “hidden champions” deeply embedded in the supply chains. On a total area of 540 m², 6 renowned German companies will be presenting the latest green energy technologies and innovations. In this special edition newsletter, you will find information on the exhibitors in our German Pavilion, their profiles, and an overview of their products and services.

We are happy to announce that the German Pavilion Happy Hour will be coming to Energy Taiwan. Come by the GTO Booth on October 16th at 16:00 and grab a cool and authentic German beer.

Sincerely Yours,

The German Trade Office Taipei

  • set up a company in Germany
  •  set up a distribution Center in Germany
  • set up an assembly line or production in Germany
  • buy commercial property in Germany

The State of Bremen has been a leader in the industry since development of wind energy technology began. Research and manufacturing go hand in hand here. Manufacturers and suppliers, as well as suitable port infrastructure for the construction of offshore installations and for importing and exporting components can all be found here: heavy-load ports deep enough to accommo-date seagoing vessels and industrial space for storage and proto-types, financiers and operators - quite simply, all businesses along the value chain. One focus is on research and development. The Fraunhofer Institutes IWES and IFAM, the University of Bremen, the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, and the DLR Insti-tute for the Protection of Maritime Infrastructures provide targeted research findings for onshore and offshore technology – for example with a wind tunnel and test facilities for nacelles and rotor blades. This well-attuned network  contributes significantly to reducing costs through optimized learning curves. No other location has such a comprehensive cluster in this forward-looking industry.

In the near future, companies from all sectors will be able to set up business on 155 hectares (383 acres) at the Lune Delta business park in Bremerhaven. This business park is based on a sustainable concept – Green economy.
