The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreements

September 17, 2018: The German federal government has confirmed their support in implementing the ambitious plan: Ratification of the EU-Vietnam FTA until the end of this year! The federal government views EU-Vietnam FTA should be given high priority. This Free Trade Agreement sends out an important signal of the high growth ASEAN region and has the model function for further upcoming Free Trade Agreements as well. More details here >>>

VinFast: Opening Ceremony of Training Center in Vietnam according to the standards of DIHK, Germany

On September 10, 2018, VinFast vocational training centre to train mechanical and mechatronics engineers for its automobile manufacturing complex located in Dinh Vu-Cat Hai Economic Zone in Haiphong city has officially opened its door.

On this occasion, Marko Walde, Chief Representative of GIC/AHK Vietnam handed over the dual vocational training certification to Mrs. Van Anh, Deputy Director of VinFast. More here >>>

From 3PM - 5PM, on 11 October 2018 (Hanoi) and 24 October 2018 (HCMC).Selling to Germans is a 2-hour workshop created by German Industry and Commerce Vietnam (GIC/AHK Vietnam) that will enable Vietnamese companies and suppliers to deal with German companies and to get started with doing business with Germans.

The Haiphong - Ha Long expressway is now ready for traffic

Haiphong - Ha Long expressway has just become operational with the inauguration of its final part, the Bach Dang bridge on September 1, 2018. The travel time between Haiphong and Ha Long, Quang Ninh province, is now reduced from 1.5 hour to 30 minutes. Upon completion of further part connecting to Mong Cai city in 2020, the trucking time from Haiphong to China border is 3 hours only via this expressway
